BOLKIAH GARRISON, FRIDAY, 22 MAY 2026 – Officer Cadets (OCdt) Intake 25, Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF), conducted an educational visit to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Museum at Bolkiah Garrison.
The visit formed part of the OCdts’ military education programme aimed at enhancing their understanding of the history, heritage and achievements of the RBAF. It also sought to instill a greater sense of pride, identity and appreciation of the organisation they will serve as future officers.
During the visit, the OCdts received a briefing on the role of the RBAF Museum in preserving Brunei Darussalam’s military heritage and documenting the development of the RBAF. They also toured several galleries featuring historical artefacts, military collections and memorabilia showcasing the evolution of the RBAF and its contributions to the nation.
The visit provided valuable insight into the importance of military history in shaping professional identity, military values and leadership. As part of OCS DA RBAF’s continuous professional development programme, the visit further strengthened the Officer Cadets’ understanding of their future responsibilities as leaders of the RBAF.
