TANAH JAMBU, 6 MARCH 2026 - In keeping with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadhan, the Officer Cadet School (OCS) at Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), organised a cemetery cleaning campaign held concurrently at several locations to honour the late Officers, Staff, and Officer Cadets who have passed away.
Present at the event held at the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Muslim Cemetery was Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer of OCS. Also in attendance at the respective locations were the Second-in-Command, Officers and Instructors of OCS, Probationary Officer Cadets of Intake 25, as well as family members of the departed.
The visit commenced with the recitation of Surah Yassin, followed by Tahlil and Doa Arwah, before the cemetery cleaning activities were carried out. The initiative was organised to honour the memory of those who have served, foster spiritual reflection, and strengthen community ties, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadhan.
The campaign also aimed to instil values of service, responsibility, and respect among OCS personnel and Officer Cadets, while encouraging remembrance and prayers for the departed.
