TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 24 June 2024 – Intake 23 of the Officer Cadet School (OCS) recently finished the Commanding Officer's (CO's) Challenge, a demanding 12km exercise that spanned from Berakas Forest Reserve to Berakas Garison. This rigorous exercise assessed the leadership, command, and control capabilities of 53 Officer Cadets as they manoeuvred themselves through the course.

As for Section 1 Platoon 1, their exceptional teamwork and chemistry as a team were proven as they emerged as the victorious section. Present to award them with a trophy was the Guest of Honour, Lt Col (U) Pg Yusri bin Pg Hj Sharifuddin, the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School.

The CO's challenge evaluated the OCdt's leadership abilities, decision-making skills, teamwork, determination, and mental and physical resilience across ten different stands with each stand demanding the various skills needed of the officer cadets to get through. This challenging course aimed to prepare the OCdts for upcoming challenges, such as the Commandant's Challenge and Commander's Challenge.
