TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 26 June 2024 – A total number of 22 students from the Military Cadets of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) led by the head of delegation Siti Nuratika Sri Mu'minnah binti Mohammad Hadi Muslim, Student Welfare Officer as Supervising Officer of Universiti Teknologi Brunei Military Cadets visited Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF). The visit aimed to enhance student's knowledge ad exposure on the Officer Cadet School and military career opportunities in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
During the visit, the delegation was given a brief explanation on the overview and training objective of OCS DA RBAF by Captain Umar Abdul Aziz bin Haji Yahya, Training Officer OCS DA RBAF and briefing on Military Career in RBAF by Major Pengiran Siti Aishah Norpemar binti Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar, Public Relations Officer and Career Advisor from Recruitment Office.
The visit then proceeded with leadership and team building activities by Physical Training Instructors (PTI). The activities aimed to instill leadership qualities, stimulate critical thinking and strengthen cohesiveness among the students.
