TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 25 August 2023 - Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) celebrated its 15th Anniversary at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, DA RBAF. The celebration was graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour (GOH), Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Haji Muhammad Yusri Bin Pengiran Haji Sharifuddin, Commanding Officer of OCS. Alongside the attendees were Officers, Instructors and Officer Cadets of Intake 22.
OCS DA RBAF was inaugurated on the 26th August 2008 by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. The event served to express the gratitude and appreciation towards OCS and its personnel. It also highlights the importance in nurturing and shaping the future leaders of RBAF over the past 15 years and in the years to come.
The ceremony began with a Maghrib Prayer led by 52643 Private Muhammad Syazwan Salahuddin bin Abdul Latif. It was then followed by Tahlil and concluded with Doa Kesyukuran for OCS 15th Anniversary recited by Ustaz Haji Abdul Nasir Saufi bin Hassan.
The event then ended with the Isya’ Prayer and a group photo session.
