TANAH JAMBU, Thursday 14 March 2019 – A Passing Out Parade was held this morning at Defence Academy RBAF Parade Square, Tanah Jambu. 82 Probationary Officer Cadets marched into the parade grounds of Defence Academy RBAF, marking the end of their 6-weeks of initial basic military training phase.
The Guest of Honour at the passing out parade was the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali. Also present during the ceremony was Officers, Instructors and Staff of Officer Cadet School.
During the ceremony, the Guest of Honour and Officers of Officer Cadet School inspected the parade, followed by a march pass in slow and quick time by the Probationary Officer Cadets. The parade then continue with a review order followed by a speech by the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School. One of the main points emphasized by the Guest of Honour in his speech was the importance of discipline as a military officer to be maintained at all time.
The 6 weeks initial basic military training phase began in 31st January 2019 with the signing of BAF 122.
