TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 29 July 2026 – Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 25 from the Officer Cadet School (OCS), Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), marked a significant milestone with the successful conduct of the End of Generic Term Parade. The event signified the completion of the six-month Generic Term of their commissioning programme and highlighted the discipline, coordination, and camaraderie developed throughout this phase of training.
The parade featured four contingents under the command of Parade Commander, Captain Hafiz bin Hasnan. The occasion was graced by Major Abdul Qahhar bin Haji Abdul Mulok, Intake Commander of Intake 25, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
Military parades remain an essential component of officer cadet training, reinforcing the core values of discipline, precision, teamwork, and leadership. Throughout the Generic Term, OCdts underwent intensive parade training, with instructors placing strong emphasis on accuracy, timing, and uniformity. Training progressed from mastering fundamental drill movements to executing more complex parade manoeuvres, including slow and quick marches, accompanied by the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF) Pipes and Drums Platoon.
The parade concluded with an address by the Intake Commander, followed by the recitation of a doa.
Following the parade, the Guest of Honour joined the Officer Cadets at the Executive Generic Term Luncheon held at the Officer Cadet Mess Hall, providing an opportunity to celebrate the successful completion of the Generic Term and to further strengthen camaraderie among the officer cadets and instructional staff.

SPK PENGAMBILAN KE 25 PENUTUP PERBARISAN TEMPOH GENERIK DAN MAKAN TENGAHARI TEMPOH GENERIK EKSEKUTIF
TANAH JAMBU, Rabu, 29 Julai 2026 – Pegawai Kadet Pengambilan ke-25 dari Sekolah Pegawai Kadet (SPK), Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AP ABDB), telah mencapai satu lagi mercu tanda penting dengan jayanya melaksanakan Perbarisan End of Generic Term. Acara tersebut menandakan tamatnya fasa tersebut selama enam bulan dalam program pentauliahan mereka, di samping memperlihatkan tahap disiplin, koordinasi serta semangat setiakawan yang telah diterapkan sepanjang fasa latihan berkenaan.
Perbarisan tersebut melibatkan empat kontinjen di bawah pimpinan Ketua Perbarisan, Kapten Hafiz bin Hasnan. Majlis telah diserikan dengan kehadiran Mejar Abdul Qahhar bin Haji Abdul Mulok, Ketua Pengambilan Ke-25, selaku Tetamu Kehormat.
Perbarisan ini merupakan salah satu komponen utama dalam latihan Pegawai Kadet kerana ia berperanan memupuk serta memperkukuhkan nilai-nilai disiplin, ketepatan, kerjasama dan kepimpinan. Sepanjang tempoh enam bulan, Pegawai-Pegawai Kadet telah menjalani latihan kawad secara intensif dengan penekanan terhadap ketepatan pergerakan, pematuhan masa dan keseragaman. Latihan bermula dengan penguasaan pergerakan asas kawad sebelum diteruskan kepada pelaksanaan pergerakan perbarisan yang lebih kompleks, termasuk langkah perlahan dan langkah cepat, yang diiringi oleh Platun Pipes and Drums Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Perbarisan diakhiri dengan ucapan oleh Ketua Pengambilan, diikuti dengan bacaan doa.
Selepas perbarisan, Majlis Makan Tengah Hari Eksekutif telah diadakan di Dewan Mes Pegawai Kadet. Majlis tersebut memberikan peluang kepada Pegawai-Pegawai Kadet dan tenaga pengajar untuk meraikan kejayaan menamatkan Tempoh Generik, di samping mengeratkan lagi hubungan silaturahim serta semangat setiakawan yang telah terjalin sepanjang tempoh latihan.
