OCS INTAKE 20 RANK APPOINTMENT CEREMONY
DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, 01 November 2021 – A rank appointment ceremony was held at the Officer Cadet’s Mess of which this day was yet another memorable day for 23 Officer Cadets of OCS Intake 20. The Officer Cadets received their insignias for the remaining months of their commissioning course which were presented by the Guest of Honour, the Commanding Officer of OCS, 768 Lt Col Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin.
HANDING OVER CEREMONY FOR SCHOOL SERGEANT MAJOR OF OFFICER CADET SCHOOL DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 03 November 2021 – A handover ceremony between the outgoing School Sergeant Major (SSM), WO1 Rozain bin Hj Punggut and the incoming SSM, WO1 Hj Rudy Eyan Radziddillah bin Hj Bidin, was held at the Lecture Theater, Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) today. In line with the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 control measures and guidelines, the ceremony was witnessed virtually by Lt Col Pg Siti Khatamalzariah bte Pg Hj Kamaludin, Commanding Officer of OCS. It was also virtually participated by Major Pg Hj Razif bin Pg Hj Idros, Second in Command of OCS, Officers and Staff of OCS.
VIRTUAL SHARING SESSION UNDER SPECIAL TO SERVICE PROGRAMME OF THE OFFICER CADET OF INTAKE 20 WITH THE ROYAL BRUNEI AIR FORCE COMMANDER AND SENIOR OFFICERS.
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Monday, 18 October 2021 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Commander of the RBAirF attended a session with 18 Air Force Officer Cadets (OCS) of Intake 20 on the first day out of three days sharing session under the Special-To-Service (STS) term. The Air Force Officer Cadets were arranged at the Syndicate Room following SOP given by the Ministry of Health.
MUSABAQAH TILAWAH AL-QUR’AN OCS INTAKE 20
In conjunction with Maulidurrasul 1443H, the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy RBAF had held their first Musabaqah Tilawah Al-Qur’an event on Saturday, 16 October 2021 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Due to COVID-19 outbreak, the event was conducted online via virtual platform Zoom meeting.
DONATIONS TO OCS DA RBAF PERSONNEL
Tanah Jambu, Defence Academy, Monday 18 October 2021 – Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) has extended further welfare assistance to two personnel, SSgt Syazwan bin Abdullah Gumpulan and Suriani binti Abdullah from Officer Cadet School DA RBAF who were affected by property crime and flooding.
OFFICER CADET INTAKE 20 HELD THE OPENING OF DIKIR MAULIDURRASUL 1443H VTC
Tanah Jambu, Defence Academy, Thursday, 07 October 2021 – In conjunction with the celebration of Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW for the year 1443H, Officer Cadet Intake 20 Officer Cadet School DA RBAF held the opening ceremony for the nightly Dikir Maulud. During this pandemic situation, the event was held virtually via online at the Officer Cadet Block accommodation. Virtually present was 823 Major (U) Muhammad Yusra bin Awang Jafar, the Intake Commander of OCS and instructors along with the Officer Cadets of Intake 20. The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by 54097 Mid Muhammad Nazrie bin Yusrie, followed by Selawat to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the reading of Dikir Marhaban.
