THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Monday, 17 October 2022 - A total of 17 Air Force Officer Cadets of Intake 21 Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) visited the Republic of Singapore Air Force Air Force Training Command (RSAF AFTC) in the Republic of Singapore. The visit was led by Lt Cdr Adib Izzuddin bin Haji Ramli, RBN, Intake Commander of Officer Cadet School and was welcomed by Cpt Chua Lee Tat and Cpt Han Wei from RSAF AFTC.

The visit started off with a brief introduction on the RSAF and interaction between with the RSAF cadets and the RBAF officer cadets on their programs and experiences during their Professional Term. The visit was then followed by the presentations of various visual reality (VR) training aids that could help in enhancing their skills and at the same time enjoying different learning approach where they also had the opportunity to try on these VR training aids.

Following the showcase of training aids, the officer cadets were invited on a short tour around the compound where they visited the available facilities such as the accommodation blocks, sports facilities and dining hall. The visit concluded with a walk through of the AFTC’s heritage wall which showcased a timeline of military operations and significant events in its history.

The objective of the visit was to introduce the assets and capabilities of the RSAF as well as the ways of which their personnel are trained. Additionally, it serves to educate the officer cadets on the resources and advancements available through the Air Force Training Command and to facilitate knowledge and experience sharing between officer cadets in Singapore and Brunei.
