TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Monday, 28 June 2021 – 23 officer cadets of Intake 20 Officer Cadet School (OCS), were promoted to receive insignias today at the Officer Cadet School (OCS), Mess Hall of Officer Cadet School. The insignias were being given by the Commanding Officer of OCS, Lt Col Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin as the guest of honour of the event.
Also in attendance were the Intake Commander of OCS, Maj (U) Md Yusra bin Awg Jafar along with Platoon Commanders, Officers, School Sergeant Major and Instructors as well as Officer Cadets from Intake 20.
The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the officiating of the rank appointments by the guest of honour. 54091 OCdt Ak Mohammad Qamarussalihin bin Pg Mohammad Saifuddin is appointed as the Cadet Warrant Officer for Intake 20, 54069 OCdt Aabed Zul-Fadhlee Bin Hj Abdul Hamid as the new Cadet Staff Sergeant, 3 Officer Cadets were promoted to Cadet Platoon Sergeant, 9 were promoted to Cadet Corporal as the Section Commander for their respective platoons and another 9 were promoted to Cadet Lance Corporal. With the appointments, the Officer Cadets will be able to gain experience to take responsibility as a leader in performing their duties and making significant impact towards the intake and ultimately to the RBAF.
