DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, 26 December 2019 – It was again another memorable event for NINETEENTH Officer Cadets as they got their respective emblems for the remaining month of their training here in Officer Cadet School (OCS). It was held at the Officer MESS Hall 1 and exhibiting the rank acknowledgment was, the Guest of Honor, Major (U) Pg Muhammad Farisan bin Pg Hj Metassan, Acting Commanding Officer of OCS, Tanah Jambu.Taking all things together, 2 Officer Cadets were elevated to the position of Cadet Sergeant Major (CSM) and Cadet Staff Sergeant (CSS) respectively, they were 53240 OCdt (U) Wan Mohammad Hijazi bin Haji Yussof and 53205 OCdt Awangku Wafauddin bin Pengiran Ismail. In addition, 1 officer cadet was promoted to the position of Cadet Platoon Sergeant, 9 officer cadets as Cadet Corporals and another 7 officer cadets as Cadet Lance Corporals.
Likewise, present at the function were Officers and Instructors of OCS just as Officer Cadets from Intake 18. The Officer Cadet rank advancements are a piece of constant acknowledgment, as a gratefulness and award to Officer Cadets who have done their obligations persistently and made noteworthy commitments to the admission. For the proficient running of this framework, Officers and Instructors will give the direction to arrangement holders with the goal that they can perform better and run the intake accordingly.
