NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, Friday, 8 November 2019 – The Special-To-Service for Intake 18 Midshipmen that began on the 18th August 2019 has officially ended this morning at the Naval Training Center (NTC), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Muara.53233 Midshipman Awangku Muhd Az-Zubair bin Pengiran Haji Masri, representative and overall best student of the course was called upon the stage to give an appreciation speech. Officer at present was Lieutenant Madya Mahdini bin Sabli briefly explained on how on the completion of this course marks one of the many steps in the development of these young officers as competent naval officers and acts as an essential foundation for their future. The course included lessons on navigation, communications, bridge management and firefighting and damage control. The 12-week course provided them with basic knowledge and skills required as executive officers in the Navy, which can contribute vastly towards their ships, the Fleet, RBN, RBAF and the country.
The officer congratulated all the students for their hard work and dedication towards the course, and presented certificates to those who have completed the course.
