TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 05 September 2019 – The Officer Cadet School (OCS) Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Challenge took place early in morning. The event was officially launched with the deployment of the first group of Officer Cadets at around 0600 hours located at E-mart building as the starting line. The challenge is to be completed under five-hours as the main goal. The CO’s Challenge is one of the iconic and prestigious challenges that takes place for every intake within OCS history for it has become a trademark and custom for every Officer Cadets to go through. It is through hardship and perseverance will Officer Cadets thrive and excel their command and control skills.
Winner of the CO’s Challenge was 1 Platoon 2 section, 1st Runner up was 1 Platoon 3 section followed by 2nd Runner up, 2 Platoon 3 Section. Present to officiate the prize presentation was the Commanding Officer of OCS, Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin who was welcomed by the Intake Commander of OCS, Major (U) Mohd Yusra bin Awg Jafar. One of the objectives of the CO’S Challenge was to promote healthy inter-Section competition where Officer Cadets were tested on their physical and mental abilities, teamwork coordination and their abilities to lead in a Section level. The CO’s challenge was officially ended with a photo session with the Commanding Officer of OCS, Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin, OCS Officers, Staffs as well Intake 19 Officer Cadets.
