BERAKAS FOREST RESERVE, Wednesday, 07 Jul 2021 - The Officer Cadet School (OCS) Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) challenge took place on Wednesday morning sending off the first three sections from its starting point at Berakas Forest Reserve around 0700H which ended at ETR Berakas Garisson as the finishing line. The CO’s challenge this year took place after the end of Generic Term.
Present as Guest of Honour was the Commanding Officer of OCS, Lt Col Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Kamaludin. The winner for this year CO’s challenge for intake 20 was from three platoon three section for achieving the fastest time in completing the challenge.
One of the objective for this exercise is to test the Officer Cadets’ leadership skills in encountering the challenges with a lot of obstacles and most importantly to develop teamwork among sections of the platoons. The CO’s challenge will also benefit the Officer Cadets in preparation for another two upcoming exercises, the Commandant’s Challenge and the Commander’s Challenge which will certainly be more mentally and physically challenging.
