INTAKE 23 OFFICER CADET INTRODUCTORY SESSION WITH PUSAT PRIHATIN


BERAKAS, TUESDAY, 24 December 2024 – From 23 to 24 December 2024, Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 23 successfully participated in a two-day introduction program conducted by Pusat PRIHATIN. 

On the first day, OCdts conducted a site visit to Pusat PRIHATIN at Bolkiah Garrison. The session commenced with welcoming remarks from Capt Siti Hafizah binti Abdul Khalid, Head of Counselling Cell, who provided an overview of the establishment. Lt Siti Zainab of the Counselling Cell, delivered a comprehensive presentation covering the history, mission, and key services offered by Pusat PRIHATIN. The day's activities included team-building exercises and briefings on military discipline and counseling awareness. Key sessions, such as the Taklimat Program Disiplin Anggota Tentera (PADAT) and Taklimat Kesedaran Kaunseling & Anti-Dadah (TEKAD), introduced OCdts to the roles and responsibilities of the Counselling Unit, reinforcing core military values and mental resilience. 

On the second day, the OCdts engage with the Psychology Cell, led by Lt JG Dk Akmal Nadzira binti Pg Haji Kamaludin, Head of Psychology Cell at Pusat PRIHATIN. Lt JG Akmal Nadzira binti Pg Haji Kamaludin introduced the newly established cell and facilitated psychometric evaluations designed for Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel. OCdts undertook the Myers-Briggs Personality Test and Emotional Intelligence assessments, providing insight into their individual personality types and emotional competencies. These evaluations offered OCdts valuable perspectives on their strengths and areas for growth, contributing to future self-development and leadership refinement. 

Through this engagement, OCdts gained critical awareness of internal RBAF support structures while enhancing their understanding of personal and professional development. This initiative serves to better equip the OCdts with the foundational knowledge and self-awareness necessary to assume leadership roles within the military.
