TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 13 August 2021 – 86 Officer Cadets of Intake 20 were given the opportunity to have a Zoom video call session with their families, as a way to communicate with them following the cancellation of their book out last Saturday due to Brunei’s second wave of Covid-19.
Since last week, Saturday, August 7, 2021, Brunei saw a sharp surge in Covid-19 cases, which now brings the nation’s total tally to 598 cases. This is due to the fact that Brunei is now facing a community spread where most of the active cases are locals. Ministry of Health have now imposed several measures and restrictions to curb the virus.
Officer Cadets were fortunate to be granted a 30 minutes Zoom call session by OCS to ensure their moral & wellbeing is taken care of. Weekend zoom with parents will be initiated if the situation prolongs in OCS.
