TANAH JAMBU, Officer Cadet School DA RBAF11 August 2022 – The Psychology of Leadership Course was conducted for 65 Officer Cadets with invited speaker guest, Maj (Rtd) Dr Andrew Fox from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst (RMAS) Academic Department, United Kingdom. The course was held for two consecutive days from 10th August 2022 until 11th August 2022 at the Lecture Theatre, OCS DA RBAF.

All 65 Officer Cadets had the opportunity to learn several theories in relation to the Psychology of Leadership that is beneficial for their journey throughout their commissioning course and future career as an Officer. The course stressed on the Theory of Motivation where it comprise of how to deal with the subordinates when they become leader in the future. It focuses on intrinsic as well as extrinsic motivation that will allow future leaders to take care of their subordinate welfare and at the same time taught them how to be flexible.

The objective of the course is to prepare the Officer Cadets to undertake responsibilities as future military leaders who have the ability to not only be efficient in command and control but to also be able to reassure the welfare and maintenance of their subordinates in order to preserve the harmony of RBAF. The course also assures the content of the OCS Commissioning Course is relevant and in line with other Military Academy around the world.
