TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 06 April 2023 – The Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), in enlivening and glorifying the Holy Month of Ramadan, performed the Ihya Ramadhan activity at the Surau Asy-Syuhada DA RBAF Tanah Jambu.
In attendance were the Religious Directorate of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT), Bolkiah Garrison and the Officer Cadets of Intake 22 DA RBAF.
The event, ‘Ihya Ramadan’ was organized by the Religious Directorate of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JAMA’AT) in collaboration with Malaysian Armed Forces Religious Corps (KAGAT). The sermon was delivered by Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohd Jihadi Bin Haji Ahmad, Head of Dakwah Cell of the Malaysian Armed Forces Religious Corps, titled ‘Tazkiyah Al-Nafs’, which highlights as Muslims, the remembrance of Allah is one of the steps to refining and strengthening our connection to Him and the Holy Month of Ramadan offers abundant blessings and rewards as a means to purify our heart and soul. The event was preceded with Sahoor and Subuh Prayers and concluded with a group photo session.
