TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 23 May 2021 – A memorable day for all of the Officer Cadets of Intake 20 was being held on this day. In conjunction with the festive season of Hari Raya ‘Aidilfitri, the Officer Cadets have been given the opportunity to orchestrate an event to enliven the Eid El Fitri celebration with the theme ‘Nostalgia Hari Raya’ which was held in the Officer Cadet’s Mess of OCS DA RBAF. The event was attended by the Guest of Honour, Lt Col Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin, the Commanding Officer of OCS DA RBAF. Accompanying attendees during the celebrative event were the OCS Officers, Instructors and Permanent Staffs.
The celebration was filled with joyous live performances which were both arranged and delivered by the Officer Cadets themselves. The activities vary from a live band and stage acting to random interviews. The Officer Cadets performed a number of Raya scores such as ‘Anugerah Aidilfitri’, ‘Suasana Hari Raya’, ‘Rindu Raya’. Apart from that, prizes were also given to the best dressed Officer Cadets towards the end of the event.
For most of the Officer Cadets, it was their first time celebrating the festive month away from their family, therefore, it was a moment to savour and remember. The event has not only displayed the collective hard work and dedication of Officer Cadets but it has also taught them the importance of consolidating the support unit established among themselves in order to make the arduous journey in OCS a more meaningful and memorable experience.
