OCS INTAKE 21 VISIT TO SINGAPORE DISCOVERY CENTRE
THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Sunday 16 October 2022 – For the final visit of the War Study Package, Intake 21 officer cadets of Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) visited the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC). SDC is a non-profit organisation aimed to share the Singapore Story and inspire a desire to contribute to Singapore’s future. It also provides a mind-and-heart-engaging, multi-sensory learning experience which spans a selection of integrated themes.
OFFICER CADET SCHOOL INTAKE 21 VISIT TO REFLECTIONS AT BUKIT CHANDU, THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Sunday 09 October 2022 - As part of the War Study Package, the officer cadet of intake 21, officers and instructors of Intake 21, Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) visited Reflections at Bukit Chandu (RBC), which is a World War II (WWII) interpretative centre that commemorates the Battle of Pasir Panjang and the men of the Malay Regiment who fought in it. The battle is one of the fiercest battles fought against the Japanese in Singapore, whereby, despite the regiment being heavily outnumbered, they were able to hold their ground for three days and they fought to the last breath.
URBAN OPERATION TRAINING PACKAGE OF OFFICER CADET INTAKE 21
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 30 September 2022 - A contingent of 65 Officer Cadets and 20 Officers and staff from Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) departed for Republic of Singapore today for Urban Operation Training Package (UOTP) scheduled from 30 September 2022 to 21 October 2022 with the Officer Cadet School Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute Military Institute (OCS SAFTI MI). The contingent is led by Lt Cdr Muhd Adib Izzuddin bin Haji Ramli, RBN, Intake Commander of OCS Intake 21. This marks another milestone for OCS as this is the first UOTP which will be participated by the Tri-Services (Land, Navy and Air Force) Officer Cadets of OCS DA RBAF.
SOLAT SUNAT HAJAT OCS INTAKE 21 FOR URBAN OPERATION TRAINING PACKAGE DEPLOYMENT
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 29 Sept 2022 – Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) held a mass Sunat Hajat and Zohor prayer for the upcoming Urban Operation Training Package (UOTP) in Republic of Singapore that is scheduled from 30 September 2022 to 21 October 2022 with the Officer Cadet School Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute Military Institute (OCS SAFTI MI).
9th INTERNATIONAL ARMY CADET WEEK
DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, 29TH SEPTEMBER 2022 – 2 Officer Cadets from 21st Intake of Officer Cadet School Defence Academy RBAF, 54423 OCdt Ak Ahmad Amin Hidayatullah bin Pg Hj Rosli and 54421 OCdt Awg Muhammad Asyraf bin Hj Awg Amin were chosen to represent Brunei Darussalam at the 9th International Army Cadet Week 2022 hosted by Army Engineering University of PLA, Republic of China where cadets from 23 different countries from all over the world ranging from Laos to Argentina gathered to exchange their knowledge and perspectives.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF INSTRUCTOR / CONTINUES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE
Tanah Jambu, Friday 16 September 2022 - The closing ceremony of the Instructor’s Cadre was held today at the Lecture Theatre, Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF). Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Peter bin Ulat @ Yulat, Chief Instructor, DA RBAF. Also in attendance were Senior Officer, Officers and Senior Ranks from DA RBAF as well as OCS.
