TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 04 January 2023 – The Officer Cadets of Intake 21 had a Leadership Talk held at the Lecture Theater, Officer Cadet School Headquarters (OCS HQ). The Leadership Talk session was conveyed by the invited speaker Royal Brunei Armed Force Sergeant Major (FSM), Warrant Officer 1 Rosleen bin Hj Tujoh.
The sessions began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Leadership Talk by the FSM. During the session, the FSM shared his journey from his experience being posted as a Platoon Commander at the 3rd Battalion to being once an Academy Sergeant Major at OCS and was a Land Force Sergeant Major then now a Force Sergeant Major.
The FSM reminded the Officer Cadets of Intake 21 that they need to hold five values close to themselves which are knowledge, relationship, fitness, posture and prayers, to ensure success in the military career. He also emphasised to be humble and to blend in well with one’s subordinates as he mentioned that the first day reporting to respective units, will be the time to make a good first impression.
