TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 17th June 2021 – In conjunction with the End of Generic Term, Intake 20 Officer Cadets School organised a Khatam Al-Qur’an held at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF).
Present as the Guest of Honour (GOH) was the Intake Commander of Officer Cadet School (OCS), Yang Mulia 823 Maj (U) Muhammad Yusra bin Awang Jafar. Also present were Second in Command of Intake Commander, Platoon Commanders and Instructors of OCS.
The event began with mass Isya’ prayers, followed by a mass reading of the final verses of the Al-Quran, Doa Khatam, Dikir Marhaban, Takhtim and concluded by Doa Kesyukuran which was led by 54068 OCdt Muhammad Hafiz bin Haji Hamzulani. The Khatam Al-Quran event is held to encourage and cultivate a practice of reading the Al-Quran among the Muslims Officer Cadets. It is also to mark a new milestone and the completion for Intake 20 as the end of Generic Term.
