INTAKE 18 VISIT TO BALAI KHAZANAH

​JLN PENGIRAN RAJA BABU, Sunday 20 October 2019 – All 75 Officer Cadets along with Lt Ahmad Rashidi Hatan, RBN, Cpt Abdul Qahhar Mulok and Lt (U) Adi Rusydi Omar took the opportunity to attend the Knowledge Convention Exhibition at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah this morning. It is happened to be open to the public until the 23rd of October 2019 and showcasing the effort of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara Brunei Darussalam in maintaining and preserving Islamic heritage.

Took about three years to build the complex and it is a manifestation of His Majesty’s determination and aspiration to revive and protect the greatness of Islam dated way back during His Prophet Muhammad ruling. The Balai Khazanah has a number of facilities including 9 main galleries that exhibit The Monarch’s personal Islamic collections namely:

1.  Gallery 1 – The King’s Wisdom.
2.  Gallery 2 – The Mushat.
3. Gallery 3 – The Noble Hair of the Prophet Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
4.  Gallery 4 – Vestiges of the Companies.
5.  Gallery 5 – Knowledge Heritage 1.
6.  Gallery 6 – Knowledge Heritage 2.
7.  Gallery 7 – Signs of the Greatness of Allah Ta’ala.
8.  Gallery 8 – Astronomy.
9.  Gallery 9 – Islamic Art, Walking Sticks & Prayer Beads.
 
All of the officer cadets including the officers were astonished and thankful for the chance given to witness such spectacular exhibition. The paramount knowledge gathered from all the galleries shall be embedded in ourselves and thus uphold the Islamic teaching as the future leaders in the armed forces. The visit ended with a group photo session.
