TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 27 December 2019 – The Amazing Race was conducted in the afternoon and highlighted nine groups of five. Major (U) Awg Mohd Yusra bin Awg Jafar, Intake Commander of Intake 18, was invited as the Guest of Honour. The race was designed to be difficult and yet a fun challenge intended to move the Officer Cadets to fill in as a group to defeat obstructions, both physical and mentally, in the briefest time conceivable. The goal was to upgrade a sense of teamwork and advance a higher level of trust and joint effort between the section members.This year Intake 18 Amazing Race aimed for a higher reason. Apart from being tested physically and rationally, their critical thinking abilities, coordination, initiative, and imagination are only a portion of the fundamental abilities that were tried, at the same time working firmly as a group. The winner for this race was section 7 (3 Platoon 1 Section) with a time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. The event ended with a chant, ‘Maju untuk OCS!’ three times led by OCdt (U) Ghazali.
