Tutong, Saturday, 15 November 2025 - The Land Force Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 achieved a significant training milestone with the successful execution of a Live Firing Exercise at the Field Firing Area (FFA), Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison.
The exercise served as a critical component of their professional development, providing realistic and controlled conditions to strengthen their confidence in live-fire operations. It enabled the OCdts to refine essential weapon-handling skills and gain exposure to Combat Support elements such as CVR(T) from Armored Reconnaissance Squadron Royal Brunei Land Forces (ARS RBLF).
More importantly, this exercise was designed to instill the discipline, focus and mental resilience required to make decisions under pressure. It also emphasises on the importance of teamwork, safety and leadership which are key attributes that will continue to shape the OCdts as they progress towards becoming commissioned officers.
