TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 08 August 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 conducted a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of their Generic term. The event was held at Surau Asy-Syuhada’, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF).
Honouring the occasion was the Guest of Honour, Lt Cdr Haji Ahmad Ahdaa bin Haji Ahmad, RBN, Acting Intake Commander of the Officer Cadet School (OCS). The ceremony was also attended by OCS Officers, Instructors, and OCdts of Intake 24.
The ceremony began with the Al-Quran recitation from Surah Ad-Dhuha, followed by Takhtim and Dikir Marhaban. The event concluded with prayers for the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam and the nation, subsequently a group photo.
This Khatam Al-Quran ceremony aims to promote and reinforce the practice of reciting the Al-Quran among Muslim OCdts, thereby fostering spiritual discipline that align with the core values upheld by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
