TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 4 September 2023 – A total of 12 Airforce Cadets from Intake 22 were given the opportunity to participate on Wing Visits as part of their Special to Service. This covers all wings from operational, support, and training along with their corresponding squadrons, whether they are stationed on-base or off-base at locations such as Berakas Garrison, Bukit Agok, and Brunei International Airport.
The purpose of the tour is to serve as an introduction to the organisational structure and to comprehend the tasks of all squadrons and the roles played by personnel within them. Furthermore, they acquired a profound understanding of the capabilities and assets of each Wings in the Royal Brunei Air Force.
Notable highlights of the tour included the opportunity to explore various aircraft, including those housed in No. 1 Wing, aircraft maintenance operations in No. 5 Wing, and training aircraft in No. 7 Wing. These Wing Visits not only allowed the officer cadets to gain a deeper understanding of their chosen vocation but also provided valuable insights into the diverse functions of each Wing within the Royal Brunei Air Force.
