TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 22 April 2022 – Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) had organised an annual Ramadhan cemetery visit and cleaning campaign in conjunction with the final ten days of this blessed Holy month.
This religious activity is a reminder to all Officer Cadets of Intake 21 regarding the importance of spiritual awareness and to pay respects towards the fallen heroes from the OCS Personnel and Officer Cadets of Intake 08 in 2012.
A total of 65 Officer Cadets of Intake 21 were deployed to five different locations where few of the fallen heroes were buried; Seria, Jerudong, Sengkurong, Pulaie and Damuan. Present was Lieutenant Colonel Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Hj Kamaludin, the Commanding Officer of OCS. Also present were Officers, School Sergeant Major, and instructors of OCS.
The religious activity started with a cleaning campaign followed by the recital of Surah Yassin and Tahlil led by the officer cadets. The event concluded with the pouring of air asah-asahan on the deceased’s tombs. It is prayed that may the souls be blessed and placed among The Righteous.
