TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 19 January 2021, The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony this evening at Surau Asy-Syuhada’ DA RBAF in conjunction with Intake 19 Sovereign’s Parade.
Present as the guest of honour was Lieutenant Colonel Hajah Suriyati binti Haji Junaidi, Acting Commandant of DA RBAF. Also present during the ceremony was Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa Senior Directing Staff of Command Staff Course of DA RBAF, Major Mohammad Ghazali bin Haji Hussin, the Head of Leadership and Management Centre (LMC) of DA RBAF, Officers and Staffs of DA RBAF and Officer Cadets of Intake 19.
The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony began after Maghrib prayers with the recitation of surah Al-Fatihah, followed by surah Ad-Dhuha, Takhtim, Doa Khatam, Dikir Marhaban, which was led by Officer Cadets from Intake 19. The ceremony then concluded with a mass Isya’ prayer.
