TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 10 December 2020 – Today marked the end of STS term for Intake 19 of Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The parade this morning was reviewed by Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah Binti Pg Hj Kamaludin, the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School. Upon the arrival of the Guest of Honour, a Present Arm was presented and shortly after that, the inspection of the parade began before it commenced into a slow and quick march.

The parade consisted of four (4) contingents headed by their respective contingent commanders and was led by 1061 Lt Mohd Ridhwan bin Ralif, RBN as the parade commander. The Parade was then ended with a speech by the Guest of Honor where she featured that Officer Cadets have effectively finished the 10 weeks in length of the Special-To-Service Term and is as of now almost finish with the training course. She likewise accentuated that Officer Cadets ought to remain endured with the course. To summarize her speech, she highlighted that the training is still as rigid and with the highest standard despite the pandemic. Also, she pledged all Officer Cadets to remain focus and maintain their well-being and discipline by upholding the core values.

The Special-To-Service Term is where each service conducted separate specialised training programmes relevant to their unit. The target of the Parade was not exclusively to honor the fulfillment of the Special-To-Service Term but on the other hand, is to uncover and prepare Officer Cadets for their final parade which is the Sovereign’s Parade by the end of the 52-weeks course.
