BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, SUNDAY MAY 17TH, 2020 – In conjunction with the Holy month of Ramadhan, Intake 19 Officer Cadets organized a charity project, Projek Amal, for the year 2020.
This project is part of the community service activities organized by the Intake to encourage the act of providing assistance to former military personnel, less fortunate and orphans from family of former Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces personnel.
Projek Amal was simultaneously presented to identified 29 recipients altogether in all fours districts of Brunei Darussalam by delegations of Officer Cadets to represent the Intake and the handing over of provisions were witnessed by the Intake Commander, Platoon Commanders and Instructors.
To bless the project, a Doa Selamat was recited by appointed Officer Cadets at each recipient venue visited. With this project executed, it is hoped that this will nurture not just leaders but everyone in general the value of extending a helping hand to those in need. With that said, may Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala reward us all for our good deeds and acts of Sadaqah (Sadaqah Jaariyah), and may He grant us all a place in Jannah. Amin Ya Rabbil ‘alamiin.
