INTAKE 18 END OF SPECIAL-TO-SERVICE TERM CURRY LUNCH
TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 7 December 2019 – Following the End of STS Term Parade, Intake 18 of Officer Cadet School facilitated their first conventional supper called the Curry Lunch. The occasion occurred at the Ceremonial Hall earlier in the morning right after the End of STS Parade. Present as the Guest of Honor was the Acting Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Kamaluddin who was invited by the Intake Commander, Major (U) Muhammad Yusra bin Jafar. Also present at the event were senior officers, instructors from all three units, Officers Cadets and permanent staff of the Officer Cadet School.
INTAKE 18 END OF SPECIAL-TO-SERVICE TERM PARADE
TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 7 December 2019 – Marked the end of STS term for Intake 18 of Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The parade this morning was reviewed by Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah Binti Pg Kamaluddin, the Commanding Officer of the Officer Cadet School. Upon the arrival of the Guest of Honour, a Present Arm was presented and shortly after that, the inspection of the parade began before it commenced into a slow and quick march.
INTAKE 18 FIRST 21KM LOG RACE EVENT
RIMBA, 23 November 2019 – The Log Race event is one of the most physical events and first-ever Officer Cadet School ever done. It plays an important part in the development of leadership amongst officer cadets. The event aims to further enhances the foundation of teamwork and the ‘will to win’.
INTAKE 18 MIDSHIPMEN STS 18/2019 CLOSING CEREMONY
NAVAL TRAINING CENTER, Friday, 8 November 2019 – The Special-To-Service for Intake 18 Midshipmen that began on the 18th August 2019 has officially ended this morning at the Naval Training Center (NTC), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Muara.
INTAKE 18 MIDSHIPMEN ATTENDED THE FAREWELL DINNER
INDERA SAMUDERA, Wednesday 6 November 2019 – Midshipmen of Intake 18 were invited to attend the farewell dinner in conjunction with Pelican Exercise at The Empire Hotel and Country Club. Present during the dinner were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence and His Excellency Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Singapore, Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces and First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Othman bin Hj Suhaili @ Suhaily, Commander of Navy, alumni of Pelican Exercise, senior officers, officers, personnel and officer cadets of Intake 18.
INTAKE 18 MIDSHIPMEN VISITED MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY
JALAN PELABUHAN MUARA, Tuesday 5 November 2019 – All midshipmen of Intake 18 were given an opportunity to visit the Maritime and Port Authority Brunei Darussalam earlier this morning. Accompanying the midshipmen were Lieutenant Commander (R) Pg Omarali bin Pg Jaya Indera Haji Mokhtar Puteh, Lieutenant Shahrul Idham bin Haji Bungsu, RBN and other Royal Brunei Technical Services instructors.
