OPENING CEREMONY OF THE TETRAMAP FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION COURSE
INTAKE 18 ROYAL BRUNEI MALAY REGIMENTAL PRESENTATION
TANAH JAMBU, Tuesday, 31 December 2019 – It was a two-day session where representatives from nine sections exhibited their assigned parts from the Royal Brunei Malay Regimental 1961-1976 book. The book comprises of 16 sections where every part speaks to every year with a progression of occasions that occurred in that specific year. Major (U) Pg Muhammad Farisan receptacle Pg Haji Metassan, Acting Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, was welcomed as the Guest of Honor. Additionally, senior officers, officers and officer cadets were also at present.
INTAKE 18 AMAZING RACE
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 27 December 2019 - The Amazing Race was conducted in the afternoon and highlighted nine groups of five. Major (U) Awg Mohd Yusra bin Awg Jafar, Intake Commander of Intake 18, was invited as the Guest of Honour. The race was designed to be difficult and yet a fun challenge intended to move the Officer Cadets to fill in as a group to defeat obstructions, both physical and mentally, in the briefest time conceivable. The goal was to upgrade a sense of teamwork and advance a higher level of trust and joint effort between the section members.

DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, 26 December 2019 – It was again another memorable event for NINETEENTH Officer Cadets as they got their respective emblems for the remaining month of their training here in Officer Cadet School (OCS). It was held at the Officer MESS Hall 1 and exhibiting the rank acknowledgment was, the Guest of Honor, Major (U) Pg Muhammad Farisan bin Pg Hj Metassan, Acting Commanding Officer of OCS, Tanah Jambu.
THE SAFTI INTERNATIONAL CADETS’ CONFERENCE (SICC)
SINGAPORE, Tuesday, 17 December 2019 – The SAFTI International Cadets’ Conference (SICC) took place at SAFTI Military Institute (SAFTI MI), Singapore, from 11 to 16 December 2019. The conference, with a theme of “Millennial Leaders — Challenges and opportunities for the future”, was attended by international cadets and instructors from 18 nations; Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, the UK, the US and Vietnam. Representing Officer Cadet School from Brunei Darussalam were 53204 OCdt Ak Muhd Naufal bin Pg Alihashim, 53226 Mid Hj Abdul Muiz bin Hj Matali and 53236 OCdt (U) Muhd Najib Naqiuddin bin Hj Idris.
DEPLOYED FOR THE SAFTI INTERNATIONAL CADETS’ CONFERENCE (SICC)
BERAKAS, Wednesday, 11 December 2019 – Three (3) Officer Cadets namely, 53204 OCdt Ak Muhd Naufal bin Pg Alihashim, 53226 Mid Hj Abdul Muiz bin Hj Mataliand 53236 OCdt (U) Muhd Najib Naqiuddin bin Hj Idris from the Officer Cadet School (OCS) departed for the Republic of Singapore this morning. The group was led by the Intake Commander 823 Major (U) Awg Md Yusrabin Jafar. This is the first international cadets’ conference organized by Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute (SAFTI) Military Institute to offer an opportunity for the attendees to present and discuss on the most important and interesting topics or today’s issues in the millennial world. This marks the beginning of international interaction between OCS and the SAFTI Military Institute that takes place between 11 December 2019 and 16 December 2019.
