“SAVE THE EARTH” CLEANING CAMPAIGN
DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 18 October 2020 - Officer Cadets of Intake 19 held a cleaning campaign event, called “SAVE THE EARTH”. The event is aimed to reduce the rubbish thrown along the area of Mangsalut river mouth, Tanah Jambu, nearby Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). This campaign aims to raise awareness on the importance of cleanliness and to keep the Earth Green.
OCS INTAKE 19 ADVENTEROUS SPORT – ARCHERY
TANAH JAMBU, DEFENCE ACADEMY, Saturday, 26 September 2020 – The Officer Cadets of Intake 19 from 1 Platoon was introduced to archery from The Ar-Rafi Archery Brunei Club. Present was the Chairman of Ar-Rafi Archery Brunei, Pengiran Haji Radno bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Tahir. Also present was the Platoon Commander of Platoon 1, 1071 Lieutenant Muhammad Azmi bin Abdul Latif, and instructors from Officer Cadet School.
COMMANDING OFFICER’S CHALLENGE
TANAH JAMBU,Saturday, 05 September 2019 – The Officer Cadet School (OCS)Commanding Officer’s (CO’s) Challenge took place early in morning. The eventwas officially launched with the deployment of the first group of OfficerCadets at around 0600 hours located at E-mart building as the starting line.The challenge is to be completed under five-hours as the main goal. The CO’sChallenge is one of the iconic and prestigious challenges that takes place forevery intake within OCS history for it has become a trademark and custom forevery Officer Cadets to go through. It is through hardship and perseverancewill Officer Cadets thrive and excel their command and control skills.
COMMANDING OFFICER’S OCS SESSION WITH INTAKE 19
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Monday 31 August 2020 – The session was initiated with Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the speech from the Guest of Honor. The Guest of Honor was Lt Col Amirul Adly Bin Hj Ali, Commanding Officer of OCS, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The event was attended by Officers, OCS instructors and intake 19 Officer Cadets. The event was indeed fruitful as the experience shared from the Commanding Officer proved to be beneficial as it gave an insight to Officer Cadets once commissioned as officers of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
HANDOVER CEREMONY FOR COMMANDING OFFICER OF OFFICER CADET SCHOOL
TANAH JAMBU, Defence Academy, Tuesday 1 September 2020 – Defence Academy held a handover ceremony between the outgoing Commanding Officer (CO), Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali and the incoming CO Major Pg Siti Khatamalzariah binti Pg Haji Kamaludin at the Officer Cadet School Lecture Theatre, Defence Academy this morning.
