MIDSHIPMEN OF INTAKE 23 FROM OFFICER CADET SCHOOL TAKE PART IN BASIC SEA SURVIVAL TRAINING
SERIA, Tuesday, 10 September 2024 – A total of 17 Midshipmen of Officer Cadet School (OCS) Intake 23 have completed their Basic Sea Survival Training at Megamas Training Company Sdn Bhd. This Course To Training is to embark them on their career in the Naval Force which is an aspiration marked by dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to service. For the Midshipmen, the journey begins with a series of rigorous training programs designed to prepare them for the demanding and often unpredictable nature of naval operation. The objective of this Course To Training is to develop their knowledge and skills where it plays a key part of their maritime training, aimed at equipping them with crucial life-saving skills for maritime emergencies.
CAREER VISIT FROM THE OFFICE OF CAREER ADVANCEMENT AND INDUSTRIAL NETWORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH UNISSA
TANAH JAMBU, Monday, 02 September 2024 – The Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF) received a career visit from The Office of Career Advancement and Industrial Networking (OCeAN) in collaboration with the Universiti Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Alumni Association. The delegation consist of a total of 62 students from UNISSA and 10 permanent staff led by Yang Mulia Dr Norasiah binti Haji Amai, Head of Alumni Affairs Office (HEA) as the head of delegation.
OFFICER CADET SCHOOL CELEBRATES 16TH ANNIVERSARY
TANAH JAMBU, Sunday, 25 August 2024 – The Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) celebrated its 16th anniversary at Surau Asy-Syuhada, DA RBAF. The celebration was graced by the presence of the Guest of Honour (GOH), Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pengiran Haji Muhammad Yusri Bin Pengiran Haji Sharifuddin, Commanding Officer of OCS. Also present were Officers, Instructors as well as Officer Cadets of intake 23.
LAND FORCE OFFICER CADETS OF INTAKE 23 COMPLETED TIGER TRAIL EXERCISE
BUKIT BERUANG, Thursday, 5 September 2024 – The Land Force Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 23 recently completed a 4-day Tiger Trail Exercise at Bukit Beruang. Prior to the jungle exercises, the Land Force OCdts were given theoretical lessons on key concepts and strategies essential for jungle warfare. During the four-day exercise, they then put this knowledge into practice, applying what they had learned in hands-on drills. Over the first few days, they engaged in section battle drills across different sectors, simulating tactical maneuvers in various jungle environments. On the final day, the focus shifted to a platoon battle drill, where the Land Force OCdts had to operate within a larger formation, applying strategies, showcasing teamwork and coordination under pressure.

OFFICER CADETS OF INTAKE 23 BEGAN THEIR INDIVIDUAL MILITARY APPRECIATION PROCESS (IMAP) PACKAGE AND ORDERS DELIVERY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 18 July 2024 – Officer Cadet of intake 23 was introduced to Individual Military Appreciation Process (IMAP), a systematic approach used by military personnel to convey a thorough understanding of the situation, formulating an effective plan that can be implemented successfully and make informed decisions to accomplish the mission effectively.
