OCS INTAKE 24 COMPLETES RANGE PACKAGE TRAINING PROGRAMME
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 9 May, 2025 – Officer Cadets (OCdts) from Intake 24 completed their Range Package training, which began on 21 April 2025 and was conducted across several training sites. The training focused on improving weapon handling skills and building confidence in using military arms.

EXERCISE FIRST NIGHT: OCS INTAKE 24’S JUNGLE INTRODUCTION
TANAH JAMBU, Saturday 19 April 2025 – Officer Cadet School of Intake 24 conducted Exercise First Night, a two-day, one-night foundational fieldcraft training held at the Jungle Training Area, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JTA DA RBAF). This exercise marked the Officer Cadets’ (OCdts) first exposure to jungle operations and included their initial overnight stay in the field using the Individual Shelter System (ISS).
APPOINTMENT CEREMONY OF OFFICER CADETS OF INTAKE 24 OFFICER CADET SCHOOL, DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 27 MARCH 2025 - With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, 47 Probationary Officer Cadets were appointed as Officer Cadets. The Appointment Ceremony was held at the Ceremonial Hall of the Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu.
PASSING OFF SQUARE MARKS THE END OF 6 WEEKS TRAINING FOR PROBATIONARY OFFICER CADETS INTAKE 24
TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 19 March 2025 - Today marked the end of the six-week basic military training for the Probationary Officer Cadets (POCdts) of Intake 24. The six-weeks program is a militarization phase which enables the POCdts to manage themselves and transition to a military lifestyle.
