TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 20 November 2025 - Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) conducted the End of Special-to-Service (STS) Term Parade for Intake 24 at the DA RBAF Parade Square, marking a key milestone in their progression toward the Final Term. The parade was led by Parade Commander, Lieutenant Abdul Qawi bin Haji Mohd Fadzillah, RBN, was officiated by Guest of Honour, Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli, Commanding Officer OCS DA RBAF, who inspected the contingents. He underscored the OCdts’ rigorous STS training across Land, Navy, and Air domains, highlighting the importance of unit and inter-unit collaboration.

The OCdts completed the test in a time of 2 hours and 20 minutes, satisfying the standards for passing. Following this, the OCdts participated in a 50m fireman lift test. This combat fitness test marks a crucial milestone in their training, showcasing not only their physical stamina and endurance, but also the mental fortitude and teamwork essential for effective military leadership.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 28 July 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 have successfully completed their Ground Control Exercise at the FIBUA Village within Penanjong Garrison. This comprehensive four-day training involved engaging confrontation scenarios focused on interactions with simulated civilians. Prior to this practical exercise, the OCdts received extensive theoretical lessons from the Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (ER RBLF). They also gained valuable knowledge regarding Operational Law from representatives at the Judge Advocate General Office (JAG). Additionally, instructors from the Officer Cadet School (OCS) provided live demonstrations and hands-on training.
