TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 19 November 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 attended a leadership talk delivered by the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli. He centred his address on the importance of leadership by example and practicing empathetic leadership, underscoring how these qualities help shape the values, mindset, and professional behaviours of a competent officer-to-be.
Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of interpersonal skills in military leadership, emphasising honesty, moral courage, and clear communication, and that these values are essential tools for building cohesion and leading subordinates effectively. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, where the OCdts sought advice on real-world leadership challenges, reinforcing key principles of critical thinking, responsibility, and professional conduct as they progress in their journey toward officership.
