OFFICER CADET INTAKE 24 STRENGTHENS TEAMWORK AND RESILIENCE THROUGH WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

TANAH JAMBU, Saturday, 5 July 2025 – Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 at the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF), engaged in paintball and archery sessions as part of their leadership and character-building development. These activities form an integral component of the OCS curriculum, designed to push the limits of OCdts’ capabilities, a critical part of their development as future leaders in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).

Safety remained paramount throughout the training, with all participants equipped with proper gear and closely supervised by qualified instructors. At the Jerudong Paintball Arena, OCdts participated in section-based matches that tested their tactical awareness, decision-making, and teamwork under pressure. Meanwhile, back at the DA RBAF, the traditional archery lesson combined comprehensive theory with hands-on practice, sharpening the OCdts’ focus, precision, and mental resilience.

These dynamic activities fostered a strong sense of camaraderie among OCdts and contributed meaningfully to their growth in discipline and team effectiveness. The experience gained from these sessions continues to shape OCdts into confident, resilient, and mission-ready leaders of the RBAF.
