Friday, 21 March 2025 - In keeping with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, the Officer Cadet School Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF) organised cemetery cleaning campaign concurrently in several places for the late Officers, Staff and Officer Cadets that have departed.
Present during the event at Jame Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Muslim Cemetery was Lieutenant Colonel (U) Pg Haji Muhammad Yusri bin Pg Haji Sharifuddin, the Commanding Officer of OCS. Also in attendance at respective locations were the Second in Command of OCS, Officers and Instructors of OCS, Probationary Officer Cadets of intake 24 and family members of the departed.
The visit commenced with the recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah followed by the cleaning campaign. The campaign was held to enhance spiritual development and contribute to the community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. It also aims to instill the values of community service and responsibility among the OCS personnel and officer cadets.
