OFFICER CADETS OF INTAKE 23 COMPLETES RANGE MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATION (RMQ)

BERAKAS GARRISON, Thursday, 28th November 2024 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 23 have successfully completed the Range Management Qualification (RMQ) program, a crucial part of their military training. This qualification equips them with the skills and knowledge to manage live firing ranges in a controlled setting, ensuring safety and operational effectiveness during training exercises.

The RMQ program combined rigorous theoretical and practical components, focusing on range safety, risk management, and operational procedures. OCdts were trained to oversee live firing ranges, assess hazards, mitigate risks, and manage logistics and administrative matters, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
This qualification not only prepares the OCdts for leadership roles in training environments but also hones the discipline and decision-making skills essential for success in combat. It ensures that the OCdts are fully capable of leading future live firing exercises with precision, maintaining safety, and driving the operational success of their units.
