ACTING COMMANDANT OF DA RBAF HOLDS LEADERSHIP SESSION WITH OFFICER CADETS OF OCS INTAKE 24

TANAH JAMBU, 19 December 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 had the honour of attending a leadership talk delivered by Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), at the Lecture Hall, Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF).
OFFICER CADETS OF INTAKE 24 VALIANTLY TAKES ON THE COMMANDER’S CHALLENGE
TUTONG, 16 December 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 successfully completed the Commander’s Challenge, a demanding endurance test undertaken before commissioning as officers in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The challenge required each section to work cohesively while navigating a series of obstacles designed to test their tactical understanding, leadership, and the practical skills acquired throughout their year-long commissioning course.
OCS WELCOMED ROYAL BRUNEI MILITARY CADETS AND SINGAPORE’S NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC) UNDER THE BRUNEI INTERNATIONAL CADETS EXCHANGE PROGRAMME (BICEP)
TANAH JAMBU, 3 December, 2025 - A total of 20 students from the Brunei International Cadets Exchange Programme (BICEP), representing the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Military Cadets and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of the Republic of Singapore, were scheduled to visit the Officer Cadet School at the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF). This visit aimed to provide the cadets with an overview on the introduction of the OCS.
COMMANDANT DEFENCE ACADEMY ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES WORKING VISIT TO OFFICER CADET SCHOOL
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 27 November 2025 – The Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (OCS DA RBAF), received a working visit from the Commandant of DA RBAF, Colonel (U) Azmie Iskandar bin Ariffin. Also present was the Deputy Commandant, Adjutant and Academy Sergeant Major of DA RBAF.

TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 19 November 2025 – The Officer Cadets (OCdts) of Intake 24 attended a leadership talk delivered by the Commanding Officer of Officer Cadet School, Lieutenant Colonel Faizal Azly bin Haji Rosli. He centred his address on the importance of leadership by example and practicing empathetic leadership, underscoring how these qualities help shape the values, mindset, and professional behaviours of a competent officer-to-be.
