DEFENCE ACADEMY, TANAH JAMBU, 16TH MAY 2020 – Twenty Officer Cadets were presented with their respective rank insignias in the afternoon at a promotion ceremony in Officer Cadet School Defence Academy (OCS DA) which took place at the B Block Mini Parade Square. The rank insignia presentation was led by the Guest of Honour (GOH), Intake Commander, Yang Mulia 832 Major (U) Muhd Yusra bin Awg Jafar.
2 Officer Cadets were promoted to Cadet Platoon Sergeants, 9 were promoted to Cadet Corporals and another 9 were promoted to Cadet Lance Corporals.
Also present at the ceremony were Platoon Commanders and Instructors as well as Intake 19 Officer Cadets. The Officer Cadet rank appointment ceremony is conducted in recognition to the Officer Cadets’ contribution and excellence in diligently performing their duties and in hopes that they will further make significant impact towards the intake and ultimately, the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
